Webster is an American situation comedy that aired on ABC from September 16, 1983 before May 8, 1987, and in first-run syndication before March 10, 1989 from September 21, 1987. The series was created by Stu Silver. The show stars Emmanuel Lewis at the title role like his new socialite wife played with Susan Clark, along with a boy who, after losing his parents, is adopted by his god-father, depicted by Alex Karras. The focus was largely on this impulsively couple had to adapt to parenthood and their lives, however it had been the congenial Webster. The series was made by Bay Ltd., Emmanuel Lewis Entertainment Enterprises, Inc. and Paramount Television. Much like NBC's earlier struck Diff'rent , a young African-American boy was featured by Webster.
