As they make an effort to rid the fictional planet of Justice City top Coppers follows the adventures of Mitch Rust and cops John Mahogany. The world and its characters are produced from Starsky & Hutch into The Professionals, from the conventions of British and American cop shows of the Seventies and Eighties, but is set in country or almost no particular period. With big characters and stories, Top Coppers is full of testimonials and familiar tropes from the police and action genres, as well as drawing on problems relatable British conditions and relationships.
