On a train headed for England a set of travelers is postponed by an avalanche. Holed up in a hotel in a European nation, Miss Froy is befriended by young Iris. When the train resumes, Iris endures a episode of unconsciousness and wakes to find the older woman has disappeared. The passengers ominously deny Miss Froy ever occur, so Iris begins to explore with yet another traveler and, like the couple sleuth, romantic sparks fly.
