The story is all about a young girl, Kaya (Udita Goswami), surviving in the beautifully serene valley of Spiti, awaiting join a Buddhist monastery, an idea which is fed into her life with her own father (Mohan Agashe) and one which she has never questioned. After Lama Norbu, a senior lama from the monastery has a dream which the Buddhist educator was reborn as a child, he directs Kaya into Delhi to a mission.
