A vascular surgeon that was successful is unexpectedly confronted with a blood clot, which makes it impossible for him to perform his job in the hospital. He moves from the funding to the countryside to function as GP of a village at which his or her aunt is only known by him. His predecessor has been well liked, so his community is less than welcoming. The doctor's empathic capabilities leaves much to be desired, which makes it harder for him to acquire his place from the close knit community.
