Checkmate is a American detective television series starring Doug McClure, Sebastian Cabot, and Anthony George. The series aired on CBS Television from 1960 to 1962 for an overall total of 70 episodes and has been produced by Jack Benny's production organization,"JaMco Productions" in co operation with Revue Studios. Guest stars included Peter Lorre, Charles Laughton, along with Lee Marvin .
