Emma (Winter) regains custody of their little daughter Isla (Jones) following her husband's tragic death and attempts to repair their relationship after many years apart. However, as an evil thing begins to afflict them, mother and daughter are compelled to confront the strange presence that has taken up residence within the walls of their new house.
