A ronin, or samurai without any master, enters a village at Japan where two businessmen are currently struggling for control of the local gambling trade. The ronin convinces interest retailer Tokuemon and merchant Tazaemon to engage as your own bodyguard, then puts in motion a full-blown gang warfare between the two ambitious and unscrupulous men.
