Winter Sonata is a drama that aired on KBS2 in South Korea in 2002. It's the second part of the Endless Love series, and it stars Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo. It was directed by Yoon Seok-ho, and it has a winter theme. Most of the movie was shot on the island resort of Namiseom and in Seoul. It is thought by many to be the Korean drama that started the Korean Wave in Asia and around the world. It has also been turned into a stage musical and an anime series.
