Madison Lane, a resort developer, has to find a place for a new ski resort. Her boss wants her to go to Christmas, Colorado, to think about the place. Madison has a minor accident with the town's welcome sign as she drives into town. People in Madison's town give her a ride to town so she can meet with the mayor while her car is being towed and repaired. People in the town are trying to convince Madison that Christmas is the best time to build a new ski resort. Madison doesn't know this.
