Moscow has been destroyed by an unknown lethal epidemic. Sergey, his girlfriend, and their autistic son join forces with his exwife, their son, and a group of other people to flee the quarantine zone before dying a slow and terrible death. A cabin exists somewhere far away, on a desolate island in Karelia, and it is their only chance to start afresh. The voyage, however, will not be simple, as the lethal virus and interpersonal turmoil threaten to split the gang.
