The Culver Hotel's management puts his nephew in charge for the weekend during World War II in Los Angeles. Overbooked with royalty, assassins, agents of the government, visitors from Japan, and munchkins. Bruce Thorpe, a Secret Service agent, and Annie Clark, a casting director, develop a romantic relationship in the midst of the intrigue and chaos.
