Ken Kaneki can be a book worm university student who meets a girl titles Rize at a cafe he frequents. Theyhave the same interests and're the same age, therefore they quickly become close. Little does Kaneki realize that Rize can be actually just a ghoul - a kind of monster which lives by hunting and devouring human flesh. As part of her special manhood -"the crimson child" - is transplanted into Kaneki, he becomes a ghoul himselftrapped at a warped universe where humans are not at the top of the foodchain.
