Thunderbirds is a 1960s British science fiction tv series that was produced with a mixed process of marionette puppetry and also scale-model special effects termed"Supermarionation". The show is set in the 21st century also follows the exploits of worldwide Rescue, a secret organization formed to save people in deadly peril with the assistance of advanced land, sea, air and space vehicles and equipment, launched from the hidden base on Tracy Island from the South Pacific Ocean.
