Theo, a young man of27, has Down syndrome and lives with his father in a remote cabin deep in the woods. They're at one with the environment and the animals, but then the father leaves, and the boy's left to deal with his visions on his own. Theo then embarks on his voyage, during which he strives to learn more about the universe, himself, and the nature of things and beings by gaining freedom and re-entering society.
