When the rude Texas border officer Mike Norton wrongfully kills and burys Pete Perkins's friend and ranch hand, Melquiades Estrada, Perkins is reminded of a promise he made to bury his friend in his Mexican hometown. He kidnaps Norton and digs up Estrada's body. The strange caravan then rides to Mexico.
