In the Thai jungle, a young hero cop seeks to save a lovely girl from being sacrificed to the "Worm Tribe" she belongs to. As a result, the police officer is cursed with seven "Blood Curses" that periodically erupt from his leg. When the seventh bomb explodes, he will die, but Betsy, the beauty he spared, pauses the curse with an antidote that lasts just one year. On the suggestion of Wisely (Chow yun Fat), he returns to Thailand in search of a permanent cure. Cop and allies battle the evil sorcerer of the Worm Tribe, an ugly, violent baby-like creature, and "Old Ancestor," a skeleton with bright blue eyes that morphs into a monster that is a hybrid between Rodan and Alien.
