Trapper Joe is on his way to the town his gain of hides of the last winter with all. However a set of Indians stops him and takes all of his hides, leaving him that the escaped slave Joseph. However Joe has no use for Joseph and has been set to get his property back and follows them. Before they can do such a thing, the Indians are steered themselves by a set of scalphunters under the Howie. Perhaps not just the hides, but in addition Joseph falls into their hands. Now Joe follows them independently and attempts to fool the band that is premium out of his hides
