Nick DeMarco, a small-time con artist, is forced by his parole officer to work as a department store Santa during the holidays...and he despises it. He quickly promises a young boy, Billy, near the end of his first shift that Santa will reunite his estranged parents by Christmas. Nick makes the decision to fulfill his promise to the child in some way. Will Nick, however, choose to prioritize the happiness of others over his own after meeting the boy's mother Carol?
