The River follows Emmet Cole, a wildlife specialist and TV celebrity. Emmet set off throughout the world with his wife, Tess, and son, Lincoln, while filming one of television's most popular shows. After he goes missing deep in the Amazon, his family, friends, and crew go on a perilous and fatal adventure to find him.
