On Saturday mornings, Hanna-Scooby-Doo Barbera's animation returns with the New Scooby-Doo Show. A half-hour show consisting of two 11-minute short cartoons debuted on ABC on September 10, 1983, and aired for one season only on the network. After a four-year hiatus, the show brings back Daphne and the mystery-solving formula. Her and her friends Shaggy, Scooby-Doo, and Scrappy-Doo solve supernatural mysteries while pretending to be teenage magazine reporters.
