Throughout a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney is assumed dead following a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself alone on the planet. Upon his creativity, wit and soul, he needs to draw with meager equipment to subsist in order to look for a solution to indicate to Earth that he is residing.
