THE MAN WHO WAS THURSDAY is based on G.K. Chesterton's existentialist novel of the same name (1908). The novel is classified as a metaphysical thriller, and our film may be classified similarly, however it could also be classified as a psychological and supernatural thriller in more traditional cinematic terms.
