In order to keep it from falling in to the control of its founder young hobbit Frodo Baggins, after having a ring from his uncle Bilbo, must leave his home. On the way, a fellowship is made to defend the ring-bearer and make sure the ring arrives in its final destination: Mt. Doom, the only area where it could be destroyed.
