Annie Garret is a new woman who moves from Colorado to a ranch in California where they are abandoned by Ross after he fails to land work with also their seven-year-old daughter Taylor and her irresponsible husband Ross. Without the income and no friends, also Taylor and Annie's prized race horse, Tolo, to look after, Annie lands a job in a ranch hand and stable man in a stud farm possessed by the stern Mary Lou O'Brien who's concealing some man demons of her . Despite Annie setbacks in life, by penetrating her horse in a riding competition that is high stakes she decides to obtain an outing. But when her horse moves blind by a race disease, Annie must fight with her hardships.
