Widowed Welsh Mum Anna Loenowens becomes a Coach to the wives and Lots of children of the King Mongkut of Siam. The King and anna have a struggle of personalities as she rushes to make an event for a set of European diplomats who must change their opinions, and also works to instruct the family about the English language, etiquette and customs.
