It's vacation time for their two kids, and Chicago man Chet Ripley, along with his wife, Connie, Buck and Ben. But a serene weekend of fishing at a Wisconsin lake side cottage becomes crashed by Roman Craig Connie's obnoxious brother in law, his wife and also the pair's two brothers. The Ripleys find themselves at odds with the stuffy Craig family, as the excursion wears on.
