Once an architect, Frank Bannister now passes herself off as an exorcist of wicked spirits. To reinforce his facade, he asserts his"special" gift is the consequence of a car accident which killed his wife. But what he does not count on is people dying in the town where he resides. As he tries to piece together the puzzle of these killings, he falls deeply in love with the wife of a few of the victims and copes with a FBI agent that is crazy.
