Freddy Gale has waited for John Booth to be released from prison, after his daughter died in a hit and run. On your day of discharge, Gale visits Booth and announces that he will kill him 1 week. Booth finds love affair, and uses his period to try to make peace with himself and his entourage. Gale, whose entire life is spiraling down for his or her obsession involving Booth, will bring himself. At he end of the week, both men will find themselves on a collision course with one another.
