In a sad Texas hamlet, Anna, a British exchange teacher, introduces her despairing youngsters to soccer. At first, they're dreadful, but Anna and her football-hero helper whip them into shape. While working overtime, the couple assists children in developing their self-esteem and is also active in resolving family disputes.
