Summer of '67, based on true events, vividly depicts the chaotic 1960s and the challenges of men and women affected by the Vietnam War. Milly (Rachel Schrey), a young wife and mother, is compelled to live with her mother-in-law while her husband Gerald (Cameron Gilliam) is deployed aboard the USS Forrestal. Kate (Bethany Davenport) is torn between her high school sweetheart Peter (Christopher Dalton) and her new hippy boyfriend Van (Sam Brooks). Ruby Mae (Sharonne Lanier) finally falls in love with Reggie (Jerrold Edwards), only to have him abducted by the draft. Each woman must decide whether or not their husband will return, and even if he does, will life ever be the same again?
