The anime series Street Fighter II: V is based on the Street Fighter II fighting game. The series was directed by Gisaburo Sugii and aired on YTV from April 10 to November 27 in Japan in 1995. In1996, the dubbing group Animaze and Manga Entertainment developed an English adaptation of the series, which was published on VHS in Australia and the United States in 1997-98. ADV Films created an English dub for the UK market only in1997, which was released on VHS. In North America, on April29,2003, the Animaze/Manga dub was released on DVD in a four-disc package.
