Sara joins Julliard in New York to meet her mother's dream of becoming the Prima ballerina of the school. She befriends her room mates, Zoe and Miles, who teach hip-hop classes. She's classes with the famous and rigid Monique Delacroix she idolizes - Monique requires commitment, discipline and hard work from her students. When Miles, who is a composer, invites Sara to help him compose the music for the dancing choreography Sara's fire for hip hop has been sparked and she falls deeply in love with Miles.
