The first half of that film shows how a man who became Santa Claus has been given immortality and chosen to deliver toys to all of the kiddies of earth. The second half moves into the modern era, by which Patch, the head elf, strikes out on their own and falls in with a wicked toy manufacturer who wants to corner the market and expel Santa Claus.
