In prohibition era Chicago, the corrupt sheriff and Guy Gisborne, a south-side racketeer, knock off the boss Big Jim. Everybody falls in line supporting Guy except Robbo, who controls the north side. Even though he's out gunned, Robbo would like to maintain his territory. A dude out of Indiana and a boys' orphanage's director and Robbo combine forces. And, when he gives some money he becomes the toast of town as a hood such as Robin Hood. Guy schemes to get rid of Robbo, and Big Jim unknown daughter looks and goes from man. Can Robbo hold things together?
