Following his battle with the creature Doomsday, the world is mourning the loss of the Man of Steel in The Death of Superman's aftermath. No sooner as his human body was put to rest than do four bearers of the Superman protector come forward to take on the mantle. The Last Son of Krypton Steel, and the Cyborg Superman all try to fill the vacuum left by the world winner. Meanwhile, the Superman's departure has also signaled that Earth is exposed.
