When real estate clerk Marion Crane goes on the lam with a wad of cash and hopes of starting a new lifestyle, she eventually ends up at the notorious Bates Motel, where his housebound mother is cared because of by boss Norman Bates. The area appears quirky, however nice... until Marion decides to take a shower.
