The story takes place in occupied Korea at the start of the 20th century, where a young pupil in medication finds the killed body of the son of a government official. Being frightened of being accused, he determines to work with Hong Jin-ho (an investigative) to assist him locate the murderer before the authorities accuse him of the murder.
