Place in the summer of 1984 -- Margaret Thatcher is in power and the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) is on strike. At the Pride March in London, a bunch of lesbian and homosexual activists determines to raise money to support the groups of their miners. But there's a problem. The Union seems embarrassed to get their support.
