When disc jockey Grant Mazzy reports in the town of Pontypool to his cellar radio station, '' he believes it's just another day at work. But if he hears reports of a virus which turns people into zombies, Mazzy tries to figure out a means to warn his listeners about the herpes virus and its own unlikely manner of transmission and barricades himself in the radio booth.
