Orthodox informs the story of Benjamin, an Orthodox Jewish guy who uttered himself from his community. When a turn was taken by his life he ended up in prison, losing his spouse and children. Now he is outside and desperate to re integrate, he finds acceptance tougher than he imagined. He turns back to his old boxing coach thinking that he's got a president, however, a truth concerning the past appears than he once thought which leaves him even more isolated. Benjamin has to make an option which will effect not merely his future however the lifetime. He is determined not to allow history to repeat itself.
