20 years after his escape out of Impel Down, the pirate Shiki, the Golden Lion, reappears causing upheaval into the Marines. During his lengthy seclusionhe was able to develop a strategy to attract the World Government into his knees. But on his strategy Shiki becomes impressed and crosses paths that he abducts her into enlist her in to his team.
