Val has arrived at a point in his life where he believes that the only way out is to bring an end to everything. But he thinks of himself as a bit of a failure because his effectiveness is limited, and so he figures he might use some assistance. Due to a stroke of good luck, Val's best friend Kevin is now recovering from an unsuccessful attempt at suicide, which makes him appear to be the ideal partner for executing this plan for a double suicide. However, before they leave, they need to take care of some unfinished business first.
