Martin works as a night watchman at a graveyard to help pay for his law school education. Strange things start happening when the bodies of prostitute victims are left there. Because of a peculiar bet he made with Jens, the authorities begin to suspect him of the murder of a fellow student. Despite Wormer's best efforts, Martin is becoming more and more tainted by the suspicions surrounding him.
