After falling in love with Sarah, a young Arab girl, an American atheist named Frank decides to make his marriage proposal to Sarah in her native country. Sarah's family is Muslim. However, corrupt Islamic police arrest them, demand bribes in order to let them go free, murder Sarah, and frame Frank for her murder. After being deported back to the United States, Frank begins a spiritual journey in jail, where he becomes friends with Ayman, a Muslim who practices a moderate form of the faith. And because his coworker was murdered for investigating the judge's criminal dealings, Frank's only remaining option for proving his innocence is to escape from prison and get revenge on the judge.
