Place in 1996 in Lincolnshire, the show tells the horrible and funny story of a very troubled young girl Rae, who has just left a psychiatric clinic, where she has spent four months later after attempting suicide, begins to reconnect with her best friend Chloe and her band, who are oblivious of Rae's emotional wellbeing and body image problems, considering she had been in France for the past four months.
