In 19th Century Paris, the maniacal Dr. Mirakle snatches young women and injects them with ape blood in an attempt to confirm ape-human kinship. He regularly fulfills failing as the abducted females pass away. Clinical pupil Pierre Dupin uncovers what Mirakle is doing far too late to avoid the kidnapping of his girlfriend Camille. Currently he desperately tries to enlist the help of the authorities to get her back.
