Mindy, a teacher who recently got divorced, has a full-blown mid-life crisis in the week leading up to her 50th birthday, when she is hosting a long weekend at the lake for her exes, her daughter Rita and her girlfriend Emily, and Mindy's ex-boyfriend Sam. Mindy is getting set to start a new chapter in her life, and in doing so, she is learning more about herself and what she wants.
