Leonard Shelby is investigating the guy who murdered and raped his spouse. The trouble of finding the killer of his wife, however, is justified by the fact that he suffers from a rare form of short term memory loss. Even though he can recall details of lifetime before his injury, Leonard can't remember exactly what happened fifteen minutes ago, at which he's going, or why.
