Marija, a young Ukrainian woman, cleans a hotel in Dortmund but dreams of opening her own hair shop. She saves money each month. When she's fired without warning, her dream is postponed. Jobless and under financial strain, she's obliged to explore for alternatives, but she's willing to forsake her body, her social contacts, and her feelings.
